Products I loved from Expotrof 2019

6th Expotrof was completed with great success. According to the press release announced by the organising company , more than 60,000 visitors were in Expotrof, either to get acquainted with new Greek products or to enter into business agreements with producers. I was there on the second day and I would like to share with you my impressions and some observations about the organization. So let’s start with the first part with Greek products and the Greek companies that I loved.

As a half-Cretan girl, I could not resist from trying cretan products. So, as soon as I noticed the big and full of Cretan joy booth of Mr. Manoukarakis with dairy products, I follow the Cretan rhythm listening the sound of traditional ‘lyra’ and tasting great cheese and original raki. Their professionalism, the traditional costume, Cretan fun (kefi), delicious cheese. Cretans know how to sell. No, I did not fall into their nets, but Cretans stands out for miles! I couldn’t bear and I supplied with cheeses, such as amarino and goat’s tirozouli. You will see it in fantastic Cretan recipes that I will create and post on my blog.
